These patterns are from original fashion magazines dating from 1855-1865 and are from my personal collection. Original instructions are sent. There are no modern instructions given. When purchasing, please give the e-mail address to which you would like the pattern to be sent. Patterns are sent as image files within 5 business days as I do not check my Paypal account every day. Zouave Jacket For A Lady

This is a sleeveless ladie's jacket pattern, to be made of embroidered wool cloth or velvet. There is a simple pattern provided without embroidery instructions. You will need to scale the jacket pattern yourself. I have cleaned up the images and retyped the text with a spelling edit and fabric clearification.

Cap Crown For Infant

This cap-crown pattern is to be worked on muslin and then attached to the sides of the bonnet. I would recommend using the Infant's French Day Cap pattern from the Work Woman's Guide.

Baby's Shoe Embroidered In Chinese Knotting

This boot pattern is to be worked on "white cashmere or fine white (wool) flannel". The sole pattern is not given, only the top portion to be embroidered.

Braces For A Little Girl

These Braces or Bretelles have three straps across the front and another three across the back. A simple pattern is given along with a written description. This pattern is to be made of embroidered muslin and insertion.

Heart Collar and Cuff

This pattern is offered as a black and white diagram. I have tried to clean it up so that it will be easy to transfer to your fabric. There is not a written description of this pattern that I could find. Other collar and cuff patterns have instructions to use colored silk for embroidery as well as using white.
