This garden hat, for a lady, is found in Godey's Magazine for June 1862
Made of white or colored muslin, and trimmed with fancy ribbon.
Wouldn't this hat be lovely made of windowpane cotton, trimmed with colored silk ribbons?
I believe that it would and that is why I picked up a length, just yesterday, for the purpose.
