11/9/2011 - I used the Norwegian pattern to make mantles for my daughters. They both used 1 yard of wool and are lined with cotton. So, for a very reasonable price, I have nice warm mantles for my girls to ware for the Gettysburg Remembrance Day Parade. I will post pictures once the mantles are trimmed. I did not use the collar or the button straps for the girl's mantles.
9/19/2011 - The Norwegian is a pattern for a child's mantle.
