Finished The Red Wool Mantle

Well, the outside is finished. I still have to line it with silk.... just waiting for a nice silk sale.

It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. It looks like Mrs. Clause's cloak or a really nice Christmas tree skirt.

I think it will go well as a festive mantle instead of the everyday item that it was meant to be. It should also look cute with a matching hood. I am planning on making the "Red Riding Hood" from Peterson's. I'll post better pictures when I have the hood done as well.
