Shopping at the Convention

The Ladies and Gentleman of the 1860s Convention was held in Harrisburg last week. On Friday, the children and I decided to take a ride up there and see what they had to offer in the marketplace. There were loads of things to look at but we spent most of our time at the toy table offered by Ragged Soldier.

The children ended up purchasing some items for their collections. All together we took home a Graces ring, a book on ballroom dancing and a wooden penny doll kit. We also purchased a large top but they didn't have any on hand so we will have to wait for that to be mailed to us.
