Spindle Top

While at the Ladies and Gentleman of the 1860s Conference Market we picked up some toys for the children. One of those toys, the spindle top, was not available at the event. The children have been very impatiently waiting to receive it in the mail and it finally came. Not that they took very long to mail it. The children just asked several times a day and checked the mailbox constantly to see if it had come yet and made it feel as though it took a while.

It came in yesterdays mail and the children were allowed to open it last evening. Everyone took turns, even the baby, in making it go. They had loads of fun. Here is an image from the raggedsoldier.com website. (I haven't taken the time to take a picture of my own)
