I made these fabric balls for the boys. The pattern is found in The Girl's Own Toy-Maker. They are supposed to be stuffed with bran but my boys will have to settle for cotton batting.
I actually made 5 balls but the children already lost one. The front two are made from remnant wool from our coats and mantles. The back two are made from cotton remnants from my stash. I really like the wool ones the best.
